Double choc protein browine!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of almond meal
- ½ cup of Nothing naughty lean bean chocolate fudge protein powder
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ almond butter
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup choc chunks
- ¾ cup plant milk
Method
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
In a large bowl add almond meal, protein powder, raw cacao powder, baking powder and salt, stir well with a whisk to insure there are no lumps.
In a separate bowl add almond butter, melted coconut oil, pure maple and coconut sugar mix well then slowly start adding the plant milk and continue stirring until you have a smooth batter, you can now combine both mixtures together then fold through the choc chunks.
For this brownie we have used a 20x20 baking tray and lined with baking paper. The brownie batter is quite thick and sticky, use a baking spatula to evenly spread. Optional to sprinkle extra chocolate over the top before baking, WE DID!!
Bake on 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Allow to completely cool before cutting.
